this generously sized linen cloth designed in the golden cut ratio is fairly big, and that for good reason: it is so widely useable and mind-blowingly practical that is can conveniently substitute for a variety of things that one keeps around or carries with. especially helpful and always a good choice is the use as extra big scarf or as something to wrap in to get warmer or cozier - either at home or on the go. it makes for an excellent home-use-blanket all year around or even a surprisingly useful duvet blanket in hot summer nights. massed-together, it turns into a fantastic and flexibly formable headrest and pillow, and on top of that it is highly huggable due to the sheer mass of it.
one can also excellently hide underneath or simply enjoy being surrounded and enclosed by it. even tall men can be accommodated comfortably underneath. the colour is a hint of life-affirming joy that appears varyingly nuanced and intensely coloured dependent on incident of light and day - however always substancial and reliably beautiful. easily goes with almost anything that you wear or carry.

we recommend to remove the sewn-in slip with care instructions rather sooner than later as is does in fact unnecessarily distract. the cloth measures 142 centimeters in width and 230 centimeters in length at a fabric weight of 160 gramms per square meter. woven in lithuania of high quality german and french linen and thoroughly tailored by lina, prewashed and ironed by her mom. washable at 30 or 40 degrees celsius - ideally with no fabric softener. you can iron it or just have fun with the natural linen wrinkling. please do not throw this into the dryer. linen dries incredibly fast anyway.

why linen: by now you might have already noticed that we are in love with linen! and there are many good reasons for this: it is being produced locally in europe, is unusually long-living and persistent, forms no nodules and barely wears out. on the contrary, linen is known to increase in quality over time and with wear. it cools in summer as moisture evaporates incredibly fast, und warms when it's colder just the same. dirt does not really stick well to it. its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties keep it fresh longer till the next washing and also make it especially suitable for people with allergies and sensible skin. in any case it feels natural - freshly washed and still a bit rigid just the same as when already cuddly-smooth after wear. you can feel the skin breathe and it feels like a good friend that will go with you a long way.
